My thanks for the compliment. And I understand the inability to finish a project. Hahah. I have at least 7 unfinished manips floating around my computer. And my ideas seem to closely mirror your own! o_O

Angels and sci fi.

hmmm well I hate to fling aside the curtain of my artistic invincibility but. . .

Most of it is done using stock brushes. Just browse under "resources/ Application Support/ Photoshop Brushes" to find some. I recomend browsing through the favorite ones. But just load the brush into photoshop and voila! A little here, and a little there, and you have those misty swirls and flares I love so much. I also recomend using Photo filters, to give the brushes a sort of glowing white, yet tinged with a color look. Go to "layer/ new adjustment layer/ new photo filter". Then just pick one of the existing colors, or choose your own. It really ties a piece together by shading every layer with this look. That way it looks more like a real photograph, with consistent lighting.

*finally takes a breathe*

phew

hope that bit of blather was helpful! :)
